Dougherty Concrete — formerly My Friend Concrete Pump — has spent over a decade getting concrete where it needs to go across Upper Darby and Delaware County. Pumping is what we're known for, and clean, correct flatwork is what keeps customers calling back.
Who we are
We're a small, hands-on concrete operation based at 33 Golf Rd, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Mike runs the crew, and the same people who quote your job are the ones who show up to do it. Why pumping is our specialty
Most concrete contractors in Delaware County pour driveways and patios. Far fewer can pump concrete into the places a truck can't reach — a fenced backyard, a basement, a footing dug behind the house, a boxed-in foundation. We run line and boom pumps with hose lays up to 150 feet, which means we take on the pours other crews turn down. If a truck can't back up to it, we can usually still place it cleanly.
